While I'll never match Rudy's BBQ, this easy crockpot brisket comes out fork tender 'n crowd-pleasing too.

Instructions
  1. Rinse brisket with water and pat dry using papertowels. Place in glass dish and season with dry rub. Top with cracked peppercorns. Add liquid smoke and cover with foil or lid. Marinate in fridge overnight.
  2. Brown marinated brisket on all sides. This step takes about 10 min. Add more dry rub, peppercorns, and/or salt and pepper if desired.
  3. Place in crockpot fat side up/meaty side down. Cover with apple cider vinegar and water. Cook on high for 1 hr. Set timer reminder!
  4. Reduce heat and continue cooking 6-8 hours. Ready when fork tender. Serve as main course with sides or stretch it by adding as the protein topping to loaded baked potatoes.
Recipe Notes

Not too shabby for easy to make in the crockpot marinated beef brisket. My youngest calls it "brown chicken." We love to eat this alone or on loaded baked potatoes topped with butter, S&P, sour cream, cheese, green onions, and black olives.
